This north facing slope close to 9500 feet had about 100cm of pack with the bottom third of it facets and crunchy snow. Pits failed on this layer from the wrist with a Q1/Q2 quality sheer so we didn't travel on anything much over 30 degrees. The snow was really good skiing dry powder however with a few inches of new on top.
