A few inches of fresh dry snow and sunshine made for a great of skiing. We skied on west facing slopes just below 9000 feet. There is still under 100cm on this slope and stability is still poor so we didn't get on anything over 30 degrees. Surface hoar was prevalent on the top of the pack in most places, hopefully it doesn't cause problems when we get more snow. There is more snow in the area than there has been at this time compared to the last few years. There is a good slab sitting on top of the facets at the bottom, hopefully the facets become less of an issue as the slab gets bigger.
