THEE best snow of the season so far in what you'd call the "backcountry" on Tumalo. 6 laps in the bowl. Very light foot+ of powder fell last night which translated to frosty face shots every turn out there. Low winds, moderate temps, varying visibility, no signs of slabbing, one small husband-triggered slide w/ min. runout. The recent snow seems to have bonded very nicely to earlier, much colder snows. One rock encounter and forgot the camera. dohhhh!
