THE GOOD
Performance:
These gloves are form fitting and combine absolute comfort with amazing performance. They are the best "warm" glove I've ever used. They are moldable enough to ski the resort and for simple backcountry tours, yet they perform even better from a mountaineering standpoint with their ability to handle tools, climb, and negotiate ice/rock/snow. Their warmth is solid and the gauntlet keeps cold snow out of your cuffs for an even better chance of staying warm.
THE BAD
These gloves are a bit cumbersome. For intimate gripping like taking notes while digging a snow pit or using smaller pieces of gear/first aid from your pack, they're not that easy. However,
that sorta comes with the territory if you're looking to buy a glove like this. Also, the reason I say "warm" glove above is because for those of us who have a greater tendency for having cold hands, I have to warn you, your hands will still get cold. While these gloves are the best "warm" gloves I've ever used, because I fall into the "cold hands" category, you should be warned they are not 100% anti-cold.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
If you're looking for warm gloves that actually perform, this might be your best option. Although there is a possibility of cold hands if your circulation is not up to par, I don't think there's another glove around that can up the BD Guide Glove. They're constructed to stand the test of time and their performance with ice tools and even ski poles is amazing. Comfy, stylish and a bomber design make this as good of a warm glove as there is in the ski industry.

Always have cold hands no matter the weather. Bought these for trip to Whistler with single digit (F) temps in village and well below up high. Gloves were flawless - fingers still get stiff when standing around or a long lift but performed better than ANY other glove I've tried (and I've been through a bunch). More I wear them, the more molded comfy they get. LOVE these.
