Finally got out for some skiing this week. Had to wake up early to beat the rain in the forecast- and boy it's a good thing we did!2 laps of pretty fun skiing (powder- mid calf) and then the rain came a fallin.
This was my first day of the year at Todd Lake. Honestly, I was expecting better coverage. It wasn't bad, but there are definitely still obstacles and bumps.
3" of sluff and lots of cracking on the second lap. Conditions were changing quickly. There will probably be a lot of potential for movement during this warm weather. Be careful out there- especially on anything steep!
