Backcountry Skiing Journal From:

Powderjunky: December 7, 2010 Uphill: 2,700 ft. | Downhill: 2,700 ft.

Skied every aspect of Ball Butte. Snow seemed pretty stable. Dug a pit and everything seemed solid. Didn't see any signs of instability anywhere in the area.

Lots of wind.

A great tour. Overall the snow was smooth and fun.

Beautiful shots. What kind of camera are you using? Sure wish I had a sled...!

THanks! Those were with a nikon d90. It helps when Dave has a bright orange jacket :)
