The top 6-8" of new snow was about as light as it gets here in oregon. It was a little bit firmer underneath but made for a nice smooth surface to ski on. Under the trees there were some refrozen tree bombs that were a little chunky but not a big deal at all, maybe just wanted to avoid skining under them.Keep the Stoke Going!
