Did a recon mission to the higher elevations and found a bunch of crusty snow. The snowpack looks bad. Check out the picture, but basically an ice layer 6 inches off the ground that will definitely cause trouble down the road if this snow last until real winter.The snow is pretty crusty everywhere and if you plan on skiing tomorrow try for sunny aspects later in the morning when the sun has had time to soften it up.
I think i could watch oregon sunsets for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy.
