Old man winter is man humping mount bachelor.

The light deep pow from the last too days is gone, the cascade concrete has made its first appearance of the year.

The visibility and depth perception was poor, the skiing was thick and creamy. The wind was kicking and the wet snow is falling fast.

Our base right now is a legit compacted 40 inches.

For those venturing other places beside Mt. Bachey, be heads up that all this new wet snow is sitting on top of lighter snow making a place like Tumalo a good place for a slide.

Great to have winter here in october!!!
