1st turns of the year!!!

And fairly deep pow at that. Amazing coverage for the first storm of the year. The snow is a perfect consistency and was about knee deep.

It's windy on top of the cone, and I thought it was foggy but it turns out that my goggles were just fogged. It was sortof snowing (7:30-9:30 AM), but mostly the snow was just blowing around- which is great for filling in tracks.

Something like 20 cars in the lot- love to everyone getting after it! Lots of folks bootpacking, so don't hesitate to go if you don't have skins. Only 1 person had ventured off the cone, so plenty of powder is left for whoever wants to go and get it.

Can't wait to go again tomorrow!
