THE GOODThe Denali TT is a lightweight four buckle boot. It skis Soft and is very comfortable to ski in all day. A great powder boot.
THE BADWhere do I start. Watch the video for visuals on the damage. I had these for barely one full 100+ days of skiing and they failed miserably in the durability department which is why I gave this boot a crap rating. I feel if a customer is shelling out half a grand for boots they should last at least three years. The first thing to fail on BOTH boots was the Velcro strap. After about mid season it would not stick at all anymore. Then the liner on BOTH boots started to unstitch completely down the side of the liner. Finally the top buckle of on one boot broke.
The main other issue I had was there is little difference between walk and ski mode. Often times I would just not bother switching into ski mode as it skied the same either way.
power strap sucks.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOWScarpa AT boots have a lower volume, but fit great for most "normal" mid-volume feet. The Denali TT is a lightweight low-performance four buckle boot that will work best for the occasional backcountry skier.
