Have you ever used a transceiver to attempt an avalanche rescue?� Here's your chance to help make avalanche safety equipment and training better.

Backcountry Access (BCA) is taking their ongoing research to the next level: they want to hear from people who have had to use their avi gear for real. For purposes of their study, it doesn't matter whether or not the device was used successfully�or whether the incident was reported. And don't worry about privacy- they won't publish your name if you don't want them to.

This research will be used in BCA's ongoing product development efforts. It might also be used in papers published in journals and on the BCA website, at http://www.backcountryaccess.com/research .

If you haven't been involved in an avalanche but know someone who has, please pass it along to them.
