Started off our winter road trip in a little area I call heaven. Also known as Anthony Lakes. This place has the most underrated ski terrain in the country. We went after the Gunsight couloir that reaches 50+ degrees. However it was too firm for comfort and we ended up skiing some other small shots on the mountain.
It started off sunny and then a storm rolled in. We joked that if we would just wait an hour the conditions would be a lot softer.
Dug a pit and found a good ice layer a foot and a half down.
Keep the Stoke Going!

Yeah, cool place. Skied the lower 3/4 of this couloir. Very cool terrain and yes, very steep! So much to explore in this area when you hit it right.Sign Up for free or login to post comments.
