Backcountry Skiing Journal From:

Lowpro79: December 6, 2010 Uphill: 3,000 ft. | Downhill: 4,000 ft.

Pretty awesome conditions for early December! Skied North/North East facing lines. Dug a pit around 11,000 ft on a North Facing Aspect - found 105 - 150 cm deep snowpack with several distinct layers. Whatever layers are there were difficult to cause a reaction, but if any one of them steps down further into the snowpack then a very large failure could occur.

Be safe out there!
