Dawn patrol on the Claw with my brother before he had to get to work.

It's dumping but there's decent viz. Light and variable winds. Mid 20s... perfect pow skiing weather.

Gonna head back out later for an evening lap or two. Phenomenal conditions in the CLAW.

If you head to the Claw, be careful... very steep sections, lots of downed trees and assorted ski grabbers. High potential to cliff yourself out if you don't know where you're going. Get a good look at the area and have a good plan before heading out there.

With this much snow coming down, following old tracks is not guaranteed. Also, most of the old tracks I saw ventured into some pretty steep terrain. Choose your line wisely.
