Colder than shit but so worth the hike. A pleasantly warm summit awaited us above the inversion. Winds from the west had loaded the leeward aspects - there was quite the wind crust under about 4 inches of powder right under the ridge. A little further down things were purrrrfect. Nice fluffy stuff that got denser as it got deeper. Big fun with the boys!
