Ddrwyoming: November 16, 2010 Uphill: 1,500 ft. | Downhill: 1,800 ft.

COLD, WINDY. Avi danger was high to considerable today. So I wasn't even planning to go out. But a friend called and it looked like it was clearing, so we headed up. Nope, it was a blizzard up there. Cold, Nasty hike, but worth it! Once we got to the car Twin slides slid (natural slide, not ski triggered) into the road and one car rammed into debris, so we had to sit for 45 min for our awesome Teton County road crew to clear the way! Please check avi website before you go out, we are in our season now, and the dangers are there!

Well I guess it's good that Twin Slides slid! Now there's a safe run to ski. :)

Bummer for the car & everyone who had to wait though. I'm surprised the road was open!

They are bombing the pass right now! My house is shaking! It's gunna get pretty heady during/after these storms! I hope everyone plays it safe and isn't too ansy-there were tracks through the gut-which kinda ticked me off, there is a time to ski the gut of Glory, and today wasn't it.
