A great day on the S Side of the Pass.

There are a few feet of slightly upside-down fresh that seems to be fairly well bonded with the not quite crusty stuff underneath.

It's pretty warm and foggy to the verge of misty up there which I think is causing the slightly firmer 2" layer above the rest of the fluff. It grabs you a little but not too bad... especially with fat skis and enough speed to stay on top.

If it stays cloudy up there, it should ski well tomorrow... any sun would cook that top layer and make it miserable in a few short hours.

North side of the Pass (Glory) still looks very boney. The ~3 feet we got a few weeks ago largely melted off any aspect that gets sun so there's plenty of scarily exposed rocks lurking under the recent fluff.

I'm going to let a few more feet fall up there before giving it another go.

Get out and get some while it's here. Forecast looks good, but sun predicted on Thurs could wreck a lot of beautiful untracked snow. Get some.
