INSTANT WINTER IN JXN! I can hardly believe it. A solid three feet of fresh and it's still coming down. It's still very bony on Glory but the grassy spots are skiing fabulously. Ski very cautiously until we get at least a few more feet.
There wasn't a scrap of snow on the Pass five days ago and now it's skiing like late November.
It's come in pretty heavy and sticky so it's clinging to everything and providing a solid base.
If it keeps snowing as predicted we could have one of the best early seasons in a very long time.
Also, fingers crossed, we may luck out and avoid the nasty depth hoar which has made the last few seasons SKETCHY.
Pray that it keeps snowing and the sun stays off it. Also, go make some turns. It's worth it.
Good luck finding parking atop the Pass. The lot was full all day today.
