Backcountry Skiing Journal From:

Seattleslider: August 6, 2013 Uphill: 4,000 ft. | Downhill: 2,800 ft.

We had to walk about an hour, gaining 900'. Then we skinned from 6200' to 8400'. The day was warm but with a cool breeze to keep the sweat and bugs off. Suncups were small and soft up high, harder lower. Wildflowers were at their prime.
