Spent 3 days at the OPUS hut on Ophir pass outside Silverton, CO. Gorgeous hut! I would highly recommend. Skied a bunch with the RMU skis pro-team and had two professional guides along with us from San Juan Mountain Guides (currently Southwest Adventure Guides) who did an absolutely top-notch job of keeping us safe and sound and smiling. Definitely some signs of instability, but the guides were quick to offer alternatives and kept us moving, not that we needed any more motivation than the 15+ inches that fell during our stay.
