Skiing was good, a little crusty in places but very skiable.However you won't believe the sh!t that went down after skiing, read on...
As i was walking back up trail creek road to my car, i turned the corner to find three, not one, not two but three cop cars surrounding my van.
The only thing that came to mind, was maybe the van blew up or something. As I approached the car it became apparent these cops were not here to help.
They explained to me that they received an anonymous phone call that someone in a green and grey van was driving drunk and selling drugs.
My first response was, well I only do that on weekends. Then i wondered if Ashton Kutcher was about to pop out of the bushes, where I would then swiftly quick him in the nuts.
The Cops then told me that they ran a dog by the van and it sniffed positive for drugs. I laughed pretty hard as I knew with 100% certainty there are no drugs in the van. So I threw them the keys and said go at it and have fun sorting through the dirty socks and smelly boots.
They then padded me down to make sure i didn't have any weapons, which i did have a knife.
During this time a fourth cop car pulled up. Talk about bored over staffed cops. Good use of tax dollars? You decide.
It took them approximately 40 minutes to search the van and finally admit defeat.
Not even an apology. Their first tip should have been that one, I was not drunk and two, your drug sniffing dog was probably smelling the 50 pound bag of dog food.
Ah, good times.
