Backcountry Skiing Journal From:

COLORADO | SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS (SILVERTON) | COALBANK PASS, SHRED GROUNDS

Lukelubchenco: January 14, 2011 Uphill: 2,200 ft. | Downhill: 2,200 ft.

Very nice, but incredibly windy! Started around 1 in the afternoon and attempted the East Apron of Engineer peak, but found it way too windloaded to be safe. FInding this, we turned to a regular spot with a few drops that is easily lap-able and fairly safe. No activity there, even with bombholes from 20 ft. cliffs. Fun day out in the sun, peep the video(s) for a view of the action and see you out there!
