Ddrwyoming: December 31, 2010 Uphill: 2,800 ft. | Downhill: 4,200 ft.
Alpine start on the Pyramid. Broke trail, so deep, we were getting excited. Then above 8000 ft we had some serious fractures and whoomps skinning up. Knowing that there were even more exposed areas on the approach we called it and headed down. Then, not finished, we squeezed in an afternoon claw lap.All was great snow, deep and delicious!
