THE GOOD
1. Creative versatility. There are technically 8 different ways to wear this jacket (although I would probably never wear the bolero).
2. Style. Overall, I think that this jacket is super hip.
3. Comfort. I really like the feel of the soft jersey knit fabric on the inside.
THE BAD
1. Zipper quality. I've had a tough time with stuck zippers.
2. Cotton. As a rule, I would never wear any clothing on an extended backcountry adventure. You know, a little thing called hypothermia.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Props to Merrell for bringing fashion and creativity to the outdoor clothing industry. This jacket is truly innovative. You are getting the equivalent of 4 reversable lightweight jackets, 2 reversable vests, and 2 shoulder wraps (boleros).
