An afternoon lap on teton pass confirmed that all of the recent powder has in fact melted into gloppity slush. That's okay though. No one in this zip code has any right to complain. I'm actually sort of looking forward to the melt-freeze cycle. It will be nice to feel a little bit safer on steep terrain...
One thing that I forgot as I ventured outside today: Sunscreen. Unless you are working on a rad goggle burn, here is a friendly reminder to throw the lotion in your pack before your next trip! If you're anything like me, do it now. Right now. Before you forget.
