Backcountry Skiing Journal From:

Brennanlagasse: November 23, 2010 Uphill: 1,700 ft. | Downhill: 1,700 ft.

Woke up to another foot of new this am. Resorts are reporting anywhere from 8-11 FEET of new snow in the past week. Conditions are ridiculous.

Great to get out and shred with Powderjunky and Waheenie today. Talk about timing a trip right, those two killed it!

Avi danger is considerable at present with wind slab danger from the high rate of last night's snowfall (3 in/hr.)on areas above treeline. Otherwise, the new snow is bonding well and normal caution should be taken when skiing in areas with so much new snow.

Should be a fun run of skiing in the next little bit! Thank you Great Mother Nature!
