Backcountry Skiing Journal From:

Warpigsinfin: April 18, 2010 Uphill: 1,500 ft. | Downhill: 4,500 ft.

We head back out of the Winds in hopes of getting out before all snow is melted down low.

Mini-epic day complete with dangerous ski conditions, good corn skiing, hell slop skiing, frozen waterfall skiing, and a whole lot of pain.

Had to downclimb the bottom 800 vert with still heavy packs. Stoked to be out after a little probe into WR Range conditions this time of spring.

Keep the Stoke Going!

Nice, sounds like a "fun" trip. How many miles to get to a solid snow line?
