WYOMING | WIND RIVER RANGE | GLACIER TRAILHEAD NEAR DUBOIS

Warpigsinfin: April 16, 2010 Uphill: 2,000 ft. | Downhill: 1,000 ft.

Day two in the Wind River Range. Made it to some badass lakes at 10200'... located about seven miles as the crow flies from the trailhead.

We decide we're going to stay there two night as explore ski potential in the area. Our original intent was to make a push for Gannett Peak but conditions and time frame won't allow. Also, the dog is still sick.

Paradise found, we drop heavy packs and set up pimpin' winter camp with clean water access. Stoked to go check out the couloirs in the area tomorrow...
