WYOMING | WIND RIVER RANGE | GLACIER TRAILHEAD NEAR DUBOIS

Warpigsinfin: April 15, 2010 Uphill: 2,500 ft. | Downhill: 5 ft.

Heavy pack death slog/skin into the Winds to start a four night winter camp. Encountered ROTTEN snow about 500 very up the canyon, truly skiable 1200 feet up, and hot temps.

Not too much snowpack remaining in that stretch of the Winds... well, there's plenty 10500' and above but a bear getting there.

Dog sick. Back hurting. Fortunately sleep system worked well... and we brought good eats.
