Deep. Dumping. Really strong W wind. Feels like winter all over again. Definitely some CONSIDERABLE avy danger out there today. After a nap and before I head into work, I took the dog for a "walk" up Snow King. There are still great turns to be had there... everywhere except where the Snowmobile Hillclimbers RAVAGED the mountain last weekend. It's staying fresh thanks to the continued cloudiness... just a few small sucker holes over the Gros Ventre. The Tetons are definitely getting pooped on right now. It looks like much more to the North than down around JHMR or Teton Pass. From Snow King you can see the top of the Pass, about halfway up JHMR, but it's a blur of falling snow around Moose. My guess is the high peaks are getting some primo snow right now... gotta get back into the Park soon... but stuck working quite a bit these days.
I need to get one of those old T Shirts... WORK SUX! I'M GOING SKIING!
