Warpigsinfin: March 30, 2010 Uphill: 2,300 ft. | Downhill: 4,300 ft.

It's dumping in JXN. Rain/snow mix in town (6600')... thick and slow but OK from 7000' to 8000'... hero snow from 8000'-9000'... ultra windblown above 9000'. The summit guage at JHMR is averaging 35 mph with gusts to 50... highest gust in the last 24hrs is 80 mph! Wind mostly out of the SW.

There's a good foot of fresh out there and plenty more on the way... said to snow all night and well into tomorrow.

People are hungry for it after a month of drought... factor Gapril Fools Day on Thursday into the mix and it could get hectic out there. I imagine Granite Canyon will get slaughtered unless the first few guinea pigs don't come back smiling (or at all).

All aspects should ski well but some will definitely be extremely windloaded. Choose wisely! Those North sides should be getting most of the loading and should stay good for a while...no sun in the forecast for a while. I am definitely going to let them settle for a few days... and let the guinea pigs have a go first. Full moon run last night on Snow King. A solid foot of fluff up top that you rarely crust out on.

Two inches of fresh down low... good skiing on the town hill.
