It you are not a competent skier used to beg tours, this would be a sandbag. We skied in on the first day, skied all day the second, and then skied out on a 3rd day. The snow at the start and on south facing slopes was predictably bad, but the skiing on Snowgrass was great. This is a big undertaking, but worth the effort if you are into tent based overnight tours. A strong skier might be able to pull this off in a day in early spring, once the road is open, but you will likely have to walk some trail getting in and out of Chatter Creek. Once into the Chiwaukum Range there are many, many possibilities for good tours. If you keep heading North you can eventually pop out by skiing the Swauth down to Cascade Meadows Church Camp. For those that like this sort of thing this is great fun, for those looking for a nice spring tour with little hassle, this is not a good option.
