This was the quickest, most north facing option so we gave it a try. We were able to take our sled to where the snow actually starts, and the ride in was fairly easy. Once in the "snow zone" the snow itself was really firm and there looked to be a lot o debris in the main gut, so we skied the lookers left trees and found some fun skiing on nature's groomers. It was firm but had an edge deep coating of powder making it really fun and smooth. The higher we went up there was a inch of crust slabbish that might be a problem when any new snow falls. The snow never really softened the way we were hoping once we got higher up, but it was still cool checking out a new area.
