Almost two feet of super fluff was awaiting us in the woods and pillow lines off the NE Ridge of Shadow. The current storm has definitely been hitting the Park more than JHMR.Sluffy stuff, especially on ESE aspects where sun crust lurks underneath. These sluffs didn't seem not exceptionally dangerous in the terrain we hit. Vis was good: light snow from thin clouds with occasional patches of blue. Wind was gusty and variable, occasionally dropping fluff bombs on us from the trees.
We skied perfect snow top to bottom and unanimously agreed another lap was needed. We started up the steep N woods attempting to regain the ridge at 3 pm. We skipped the summit knob on the second lap and were back in the car just before dusk at 6 pm.
