Wow. This area is gorgeous! We stuck to mellow trees- I was probably a little over worried about the snowpack (see snowpit report here: [link]). But the snow was fabulous and I couldn't ask for better company. Poor dog got ice chunks between his toes...Can't wait to head back to this zone.
