Warpigsinfin: January 24, 2010 Uphill: 2,000 ft. | Downhill: 11,500 ft.

Waist deep. Strong variable winds all day. Still snowing here in the J Hole. High avy danger yesterday so we stuck to the safer routes. JHMR is skiing well thanks to 5 feet of fresh in the last week. After a morning lap on Teton Pass we headed to JHMR to bash some inbounds pow moguls before heading out the gates.

Big thanks to whoever set the booters out to 4 Pines. It must have been one hell of a slog. Deep, blower pow top to bottom.

I heard of a large terminal avalanche on N facing terrain in Rock Springs. I also saw a trio of skier released slides in and around the couloir Spacewalk. Hmmm...
