Earnsturns: February 24, 2011 Uphill: 2,700 ft. | Downhill: 1,100 ft.
This was the first day of a four day trip into Williams Yurt. They had just received about 2 feet of snow within the last week after not having any major accumulation for about 6 weeks. We didn't go on anything much steeper than 30 but we didn't see any cracking or whoomphing. The powder was light and deep. It was snowing most the day with a little wind from the south.
