Snow was about 5 inches of mostly wind slab give or take some spots deeper and some spots bare to the ice. Lots of whumping, like the graploid monsters from the movie tremors were trying to escape from their subterranean underground lair, mostly on the flats, cut a cornice with my Backcountry Bomb tool in the playground to try and get something to move, but to the disappointment of my destructive appetite, nothing budged. Still I kept to mellow tree runs. Most of the new snow is in super slabby wind pockets on top of ice that has some hoar on it, so the right sweet spot could be problematic. But it was a real nice sunny day.
