The snow wasn't the most interesting thing about today. It was running into a few skiers who were booting down the run we were skiing.

One of them dislocated a shoulder. They're going to be fine, but here's a reminder that all of us who do this stuff frequently should at some point take a Wilderness Medicine Class. WFR knowledge is essential if you're out in the bc a lot.

Thankfully they were doing okay when I left them and I was able to reduce the hurt skiers shoulder so he didn't have to slog out with it dislocated and suffer more potential nerve damage.

Just a friendly heads up shredders-sometimes, we all need a hand and being prepared for the worst, always, is better than not.

Keep the Stoke Going!

Huge thank you to Brennan -- I was that injured skier.

The way down was INSANELY easier after Brennan's help -- definitely echo the thoughts on the WFR course.

Nice job B! I agree - no matter our experience level we all find our selves in cruddy situations sometimes.

W-Glad to hear it! Stoked you're okay and cool you're on STB too. Heal up quick as the storm is coming in! Major waves on the east shore today. Always fun to get a little ski and surf locally, in February:)although I'm still thawing out...

Our running into each other has reminded me of how important it is to plan for the worst. Sincerely glad you and your partners are cool. Hopefully next time we run into each other will be in the same sort of place only we'll have cloudy white plumes flying behind us.
