Wouldn't have made it more than 10 yards if powderjunky hadn't stepped up to the plate to break trail through the deep, heavy snow! (Thanks) And with all the whoomphing, I'm just thankful we made it down. There is something so UNsettling about the sound of the snow collapsing. I start shaking at the thought of the rug being pulled from under my feet. And also pretty freaked out by the "stuck" feeling when your skis get buried under wet concrete. Fun day overall, but a good wake up call!
