Warpigsinfin: December 21, 2010 Uphill: 1,500 ft. | Downhill: 1,500 ft.

Ran over the dog today. Huge gash in her leg, but not even walking with a limp so hopefully it's just a flesh wound.

Skied the Christmas Cache because most other aspects on Glory got HACKED up since the storm abated. Planned on it being very wind-affected and drifty and, sure enough, it was.

A few inches of fresh smoothed out the massive drifts. Even in the wind-sculpted troughs there was good coverage... very impressive considering the insane winds of a few nights ago.

Amazingly low reported slide activity in the wake of this last storm... especially considering how hard people have been getting after it.

On 12/20 a skier kicked off a small one near the top of Twin Slides on Mt. Glory. Nothing reported today.

Notable: on 12/19 a JH Patroller got slid 1000' skiing OB in Granite Canyon... tore his ACL... wasn't able to deploy his airbag.

All the JHMR Patrollers are sporting airbags this winter. Hopefully they'll get new packs every few years and pass down the old o
