Highlights

Continous 35 degrees, steep, and direct.

Ascent

Park at the Coal Creek parking lot, head west and cross the creek by the road. Head into the woods where a skin/boot park should become evident. Ascend the forested slope eventually to the long spine of Taylor Mountain. Follow this ridge all the way to the summit. FYI most people will skin to the ridge and then bootpack the remainder. There are also lots of teaser summits on the final approach.

Descent

Ski the obvious south face. Follow Coal Creek back to the parking area.
