Highlights

A safer alternative off Glory. A nice gentle ridge leads to a stepper treed slope on the west side of Glory and leads you into the Coal Creek drainage.

Ascent

From the top of Teton Pass follow the standard Glory Boot Pack directly across from the parking lot.

Descent

Head west from the summit and follow the ridge that extends southwest. At the end of the ridge ski west down a steep face and follow the Coal Creek Drainage out to the Coal Creek parking lot. Or you can head east and ski the east face which is a little less dense with trees. This will also funnel you to the Coal Creek parking lot. You will need to shuttle or hitch a ride back to your car.

Access/Permits

The top of the pass is always crowded so park at the coal creek lot and hitch up.
