Prospectors Peak is another ski objective that has wildlife closures due to bighorn sheep. Check with the Park for more up to date closures, but generally the east face is okay, but the summit is not, or something like that.

The two most popular backcountry skiing descents on Prospectors Peak are the Banana Couloir that runs down the east face, and the Apocolypse Couloir which hides on the north side and is accessed via death canyon.

The approaches are long so make sure to get an early start from the Death Canyon Trailhead.
