MOUNT OWEN
MOUNT OWEN
Mount Owen is one bad ass ski objective. It is remote steep and scary. Stephen Koch had his epic avalanche survival story on the flanks of Mount Owen. The Koven Couloir is one of the main ski lines and get super steep at the top, probably in the high 50 degrees.

Most people will be happy to ski near or around it. Due to the long approach, exposed slopes and steep angles, definitely be sure to bring your A game if you try a ski descent.
