PINNACLE BUTTES (2) Elevation: 11,516 ft
Pinnacle Buttes is one the more awesome destinations in the range. It has some of the most aesthetic couloirs in the country. Grizzly bears love the area, so be careful early and late season. This is a remote area so having a partner and a map is recommended.RADIO TOWER BUTTE (2) Elevation: 10,700 ft
Talk about access. This thing is right off the road on Togwotee Pass. It has the Radio Tower Couloir that is a nice wide and steep couloir that is just amazing. It also has some other narrower couloirs depending on the snowfall and coverage.TWO OCEAN MOUNTAIN (1) Elevation: 10,585 ft
Skiing Two Ocean Mountain is usually done in early season. It has some great north facing trees and it's high elevation make it a good choice for turns when there isn't much snow around. It is located pretty close to Togwotee Pass so access isn't awful (About a mile and a quarter). Two Ocean Mountain has a lot of great lines to ski on it that would make great objectives no matter what time of year it is.
The whole area is ripe with skiing so go up there and take your time and have fun!

as of 4/25/10 all couloirs in this area are punchy/bullet proof snow...snowytorrents wrote on 05/20/10 at 8:04:09 pm pst:
The ATES rating for this route is listed as CHALLENGING when in fact COMPLEX is the correct rating. When this couloir is full of snow, absent rock climbing, there are no options to reduce exposure.CAC and Parks Canada have put a lot of work into ATES, including significant financial investments, and inaccurate ratings, such as the ratings provided on your web site, needlessly endanger people and harm the credibility of ATES.

Hey SnowyTorrents,Thanks for the feedback. As you probably know this portion of the site is User Generated and we rely on users like you to help keep the info accurate. We will call some local guides in the area and change the rating to what they say.
Thanks for the heads up and we encourage you to continue to help make this site more accurate.
