Mountain Ranges

CASCADES (SOUTHERN) (2) | 500+ inches a year

Although technically part of the Cascade Range which spans from California to British Columbia, the Volcanoes that encompass Washington's southern Cascades include Mount Saint Helens, Goat Rocks, Mount Adams, and Mount Mount Rainier among others. All these areas offer long descents and mixed difficulty. They tend to draw lots of skiers and climbers as they all lie close to Portland and Seattle.
