Almost Famous- A Trew Story | UNITED STATES, UTAH | 03/10/2009, by awesomepatrol

The Trew Crew at Mount Baker.
Fed up with skin tight technical wear that left no room for individuality, Tripp Frey and brothers Chris and John Pew, decided to break the traditional mold of technical backcountry attire and set a new standard with Trew Skiing Gear. These threads, not meant for the traditionalist, instead target the next generation of backcountry skiers. The skiers and riders throwing 360's off a pillow, rail sliding a dead tree, and shredding rowdy couloirs. These are the guys and gals we don't necessary understand but wish we could ski like. They bring the fun back into skiing while leaving egos and all analness behind. Here is their story as they try to bring a fresh product into a stale market. Enjoy the video!

Almost Famous: A Trew Story

When I first saw their products I wasn't really sure what to think, a sure sign I am getting old! However closer inspection revealed a tough yet functional piece of fabric that offers a lot of features that other brands come up short on. Be sure to check out Trew's adventures and their tour dates.

Nice, about time someone realized the "patagonia" long legged fit isn't for everyone.

Good gear without the attitude - what an awesome idea!

Hey John, Chris, and Tripp! This stuff belongs in Telluride! Let me know if you guys are ever out here or if I can help you get it into a store here.
