While there wasn't too many new product developments at this year's trade show, the big new story is the La Sportiva Tech Binding. Here are some things that we were really excited about, and others, like picking your nose and eating the remains, should have stayed in private.

New La Sportiva Tech Bindings. With front and rear din and brakes in the front, we are very excited that there is a viable alternative to the other tech bindings. Hopefully La Sportiva's won't come with a box of smugness.

Dynafit still not making a ski that actually appeals to skiers that don't wear tights.

DPS skis - these bad boys are light as squirrel poo and fatter than Sir Albert himself. Mount these with a pair of the La Sportiva bindings, and damn snippy snap snap, you got yourself one powder slaying touring machine!

NOT
Black Diamond producing way too many shitty skis that no one will want to buy in the United States. With the exception of the Amp and Megawatt, don't even waste your time. And be sure to wear sunglasses as the top sheets are that of which nightmares are made of.

BCA's new skin patterns, about time we spiced up these things, now if we could only get a Kelly Clarkson or Britney Spears spread.

Ortovox still trying to hold on to the s1 avalanche transceiver. The thing is bulky and way to many steps to just check if your partner is beeping, press a button, flip it open, wait for the no cell phone sign to disappear, wait for the little man to start walking,,,,,,
